James (Jim) Hurley and his son, James III, are the father-son duo behind this thrilling space adventure.
A lifelong Science Fiction enthusiast, Jim was inspired to co-write this story as a way to create something meaningful, and fun with his son. Their love for the genre spans generations, tracing back to James’ grandmother Marlene, and great-grandfather, Grandpa Loyde, who at 92 still enjoys a good sci-fi adventure.
Jim was originally an Electrical Engineer but now works in Supply Chain Management for several Silicon Valley companies. James, nearly 6’5”, is testing for his EMT certification and training to become a firefighter.
Writing this book was more than a creative endeavor; it was a bonding experience filled with laughter, late-night brainstorming, and unforgettable memories. So, they invite you to join them on this thrilling cosmic journey, one they hope you'll enjoy as much as they did creating it.
